Days of Diversity

During April 18-20 we at Linköping Institute of Technology will repeat last year’s success and put DIVERSITY in the spotlight. Various events will remind and educate us students about different ethnicities, religious belief, gender, social background and sexual orientation at various levels in the academic and professional world.

Days of Diversity is organized by LinTek Corporate Relations, and participating corporations and organizations will among others be Ericsson, JM AB, Knightec, Genius, Lika Villkor and AIESEC.

Make the decision - become a union council candidate!

Do you want to decide for all LinTek members next year? Then candidate for LinTek's council before 27th of March. The election for LinTek's council 2016/2017 will be held between 18th april and 22nd of April. The council is LinTek's highest decision-making organ and it consists of 27 members. All LinTek members are eligible to candidate. As a member of LinTek's council your task will be to participate in the council meetings and represent the students' opinions.

Do you want to find out more? Take the opportunity to speak with current members of the student council! On the 10th of March current members will be in Täppan (12:00 - 13:00) and Kårallen (15:00 - 18:00).

New membership benefit: LiU AIF

We’re very proud to be able to present to you a new membership benefit in collaboration with LiU AIF, the academic sports association of the university. Members of LinTek will receive a discount on the membership fee at LiU AIF. We want to enable sports possibilities for our students and LiU AIF offers soccer, floor ball, tennis, squash, basketball, handball and swimming opportunities.

LiU AIF is now also performing a market survey, in collaboration with the masters course industrial market analysis, where they want to learn more about training habits among students. The result will be used to further develop sports at the university.

Atlas Copco Internship

The Golden Carrot

LinTeks award for educators!

Every year, an award called the Goldern Carrot is handed out to an educator at LiTH. The prize was established to promote innovation and good education for the programs at the Institute of Technology.

Have you been in contact with or know a lecturer, lab supervisor or examiner who conducts a captivating, equitable, gender-sensitive and relevant teaching? If you answered yes to that question, it is time to nominate him/her to LinTeks prestigious pedagogy price - The Golden Carrot!

Don't miss out on LARM!

Surely you haven't missed that LARM is next week?

On tuesday the 9th of february it's time for LARMs Career Fair! The fair is held between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Colosseum, Kårallen and Blå Havet. 160 exhibitors will be present, giving you the possibility to talk with representatives from companies and get to know what they work with. It's the perfect opportunity to create new contacts and perhaps meet your future employer!
