IDay

IDay strikes again!

On the 15th of April, the 11th International Day (iDay) is held once again! IDay is the biggest event of International Student Association (ISA) and we want to welcome all of you to join us! The purpose of iDay is to promote cultural integration because there are lots of students at LiU from different countries in the world and it would be great if we all get to know a bit of each others cultures!

Last year, students and embassies from more than 26 countries participated in iDay. We want to create an opportunity for everyone to exchange culture with others, make friends and mostly importantly to have fun! Although it was a huge success last year we would like to beat that record this time and make iDay even bigger! You can be a part of it this year and make it possible! It doesn't matter where you're from or whether you are a student, employee, research personnel, etc. as long as you are part of LiU, cause EVERYBODY is welcomed!

Wanna participate in iDay 2016? Read more about it here!

Why become a member?

So why should you become a member of LinTek?

We want you to actively choose to join the student union. LinTek stand with the students of LiU through thick and thin and we work to ensure that you get the most out of your time at the University. LinTek endeavour to continuously improve your education, to share in community and let you have a lot of fun during your time at the University, and so that you will get the right job after you graduate.

Did you know that LinTek, alongside roughly 200 students, work daily to influence everything from course planning to improved studying environments, while also arranging business events, a career fair and some of the biggest parties of the year? LinTek are present on every level of LiU and we really can influence the University. Having a lot of members gives us legitimacy when we speak for the students, and that is why we need you!

On top of all this, you get some other great benefits as a member of LinTek. For example you receive discounts on the entry fee to all our student union buildings, you receive our member magazine LiTHaninan and - at the moment - two months extra use of the Campushallen gym when you buy an annual pass!

We want the choice to join the student union to be a simple one. To become a member, click here!
