With 5000 visitors, monstrous tankards with beer and a great live band as SLAGSMÅLSKLUBBEN München Hoben 2009 was a party out of the ordinary!

SOF - Student Orchestra Festival

LinTek and the organization Riks-SMASK stands behind SOF which is a music festival for university students from across Sweden. It is arranged in May every two years. The first festival was held in 1973 and has since grown into a very well attended and appreciated event.

SOF is arranged by a committee of 15 individuals with help of about 60 “Puttar”. General and Treasurer are elected and are elected every two years by LinTek council.

There is also an equivalent of the student orchestra festival in even years and it is located in Uppsala and called STORK.
